The Central Music Academy is a non-profit organization that exists to provide quality music performance education for financially disadvantaged children in downtown Lexington, Kentucky. The Academy partners with the community and other arts organizations to reach every child regardless of experience or financial need, enabling them to develop artistically, intellectually, spiritually, and socially through musical study.
CMA offers private lessons, group classes, and summer camps in many areas of musical performance including voice, winds, strings, and percussion. All of CMA’s programs are free for students who receive free/reduced lunch through the Fayette County Public Schools.
CMA’s spring recitals will be held on May 21, 22, and 23.
