Anabelle Wright Gatton
Anabelle Wright-Gatton is a soprano and graduate of UK with a degree in vocal performance. She has appeared in several UK Opera productions such as Hansel & Gretel, Lucia di Lammermoor, and the Undergraduate Studio’s production of The Magic Flute, in which she portrayed the Queen of the Night. In the summer of 2009, she travelled to Italy with the UK Women’s Choir, where she was honored to be a soloist at St. Mark’s Cathedral in Venice. Anabelle is a founding member and frequent performer with the Bluegrass Opera, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing opportunities for deserving composers, musicians, and singers through the performance of new and premiere works. Anabelle also sings professionally with the Lexington Chamber Chorale and at Central Christian Church, where she also assists in leading the children and teen choirs.
