Cristina Cosoreanu

Cristina Cosoreanu graduated from the University of Kentucky with a bachelor's in Music Performance and Psychology. A native of Romania, she has been playing the violin for eighteen years, and has been teaching for six years. She has been involved as a teacher and orchestra leader for UK's String Project, and has traveled throughout Europe as a musician. She has also enjoyed being a part of the University of Kentucky Symphony Orchestra, playing with Itzhak Perkman, Sarah Chang, and Gil Shaham. Now she enjoys teaching privately and playing in a quartet and local orchestras throughout Kentucky, and she looks forward to starting the Physician Assistant Program at UK in January.
