Elias Gross

Elias Gross has proudly taught viola and violin at Central Music Academy since 2012. In addition to teaching, Gross manages and performs with the Volare String Quartet, an ensemble specializing in creative and customized live performances for weddings, private parties, and corporate events. Gross graduated from the University of Kentucky with a B.A. in Arts Administration and Art History with a minor in Music Performance where he regularly played chamber music and was a member of the UK Symphony Orchestra. Other principal teachers include Alan de Veritch (Indiana University) and Elizabeth Derderian-Wood (Atlanta Opera).

A creative entrepreneur, Gross has recently launched IRV Creative + Consulting to provide business solutions to creatives and creative solutions to businesses. Prior to launching IRV, Gross worked in marketing and PR for the Lexington Art League, Lexington Philharmonic, and more.
